I started at Platinum One about four months ago. I was injured from running and needed help with my strength and stability. I also felt like I could be in better all-round shape and needed some guidance on how to go about it
Jake has been a fantastic trainer and knew how to push me right to the edge. It took me a few weeks to get into the swing of things but I remember coming out of one of my early sessions sore and tired but also buzzing and excited to go back. That was a changing point and from then on it’s just been better and better.
My improved muscle activation and overall stability has benefited my running and I no longer fall over while trying to put my socks on while standing up! My posture has also improved and I think the training has given me more energy in my daily life. My diet has also changed a good bit – the motivation from seeing early results in the gym has pushed me to take more control over what I eat. I have also become more organised to ensure that I plan the time I need for training to make sure work and life don’t get in the way and vice versa. The mix of learning new ways to train and the overall improvement in body confidence has me feeling better than I have in years.
I would highly recommend Platinum One. The bespoke training programmes,vibrant and open vibe, technical knowledge of the trainers and welcoming atmosphere in the gym make it the perfect place to work on your physical development. I couldn’t recommend it enough!
Aidan is a fantastic personal trainer! He is incredibly knowledgeable and knows exactly how to motivate you. Aidan has created a warm and friendly environment in his studio. The location is nice and convenient and the studio looks wonderful. I would highly recommend Aidan or any of his trainers!
Half way through 2018 I started at Platinum with a goal in mind – to get fit for the career I wanted. I had already lost some weight prior to joining and thought I knew all I could about nutrition and my fitness. I was wrong. Platinum One provided a holistic approach to exercise, nutrition and general health and well-being, which were focused around my personal goals. I am now fitter, stronger, more knowledgeable and more confident than ever. For that, I am so thankful.
I was honestly very sceptical about starting at a gym again as I’ve ‘donated’ to gyms in the past. I’ve always felt too self-conscious and overwhelmed by the array of equipment around me that I had no idea how to use or when I should be using them. It wasn’t until I started coming to Platinum that I genuinely enjoyed going to the gym more and more. Platinum One is a community where I’ve felt safe to ask any questions regarding health and fitness and is felt by the personal welcome you receive every time you enter. Each trainer knows every member by name and you won’t get that anywhere else.
I love that they focus on every aspect of your health such as food, exercise and your mental health – which is imperative in achieving your goals. I never thought I would be practising pull ups, doing dead lifts or bar squats, but the Platinum trainers taught me the techniques to ensure I go from strength to strength. I now have bigger fitness goals because I simply enjoy it now.
Because of the help of my Platinum One family, I am not only physically ready, but also mentally prepared for whatever comes my way in 2019. Come join the family!
I’d been having problems with all everything; food, exercise, consistency of routine. Sorting through all the conflicting information out there left me confused and discouraged about the whole process.
I came to Aidan because just from messaging him I could tell that he you know what he was talking about and his inherent positivity about the whole process helped me believe I could make the change this time.
Seeking help is always hard, that’s just human nature. Admitting you’re in over your head in sifting through everything that’s out there about fitness and nutrition.
So far I’ve enjoyed it, even the moments where the training got very tough. Seeing progress, even small steps, tells me that something’s going right and provides that boost to keep up with the training.
Now I look forward to my workout sessions rather than seeing it as a chore.
I began training with Aidan halfway through last year and could not recommend him enough. Before I started with him I had been doing my own training for a couple of years, and likewise with my food, but had no structure or process behind what I was doing. I would overtrain, going into the gym and doing a stack of different exercises more for the sake of moving than anything else.
Aidan changed all that.
From sitting me down in our first session he completely understood what I needed, helping me set up some much clearer goals, plan out my journey over the next weeks to months to years, and really start to get my confidence back with my training. Since starting with him I have gone from struggling to do a single pull up to down 12(!) in a row! My strength has increased through the roof and I feel so much more confident and strong.
On the food side his approach has been so necessary; he looked at my food, my goals and my schedule and made some changes and recommendations that would work for my life. Then he tracked my progress and changed what I was doing depending on its success; which was there from the start. He has been not only a great coach and trainer but someone I have come to rely on, answering messages about all sorts of training, nutrition and personal matters even when I’m not booked in with him.
I cannot recommend enough the benefits of training with him and look forward too many years to come of achieving what I set out to do and building my confidence even further.

I was by no means a beginner at the gym, but after years of exercising on my own and looking at ALL the different resources and programs available online, I started feeling a bit lost about how I could effectively achieve my goals and in search of a more personal experience and guidance from the one expert.
Aidan listened to my desires and fears and helped to set up both a training and eating plan that allowed me to ease into new physical training styles & techniques…but also the mental challenge of counting macros and high-carb days!
I was hitting PBs from the get-go and within 5 months I had smashed my second ever half marathon with a 20-min improvement on my run time. And even as I ate more food than ever before, I also managed to lose 5kg in weight, 8cm off my waist and 6.5cm from my hips! I’ve never looked as toned and felt more confident about my body as I do now – and it’s been noticed by all of my peers around me – and what I truly can achieve when I commit and give something my all.
I can’t wait to hit my next set of targets in 2018 like unassisted pull-ups and even a full marathon with Aidan by my side every step of the way.
